First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether dulaglutide, a diabetes drug, can improve blood flow in the brain for people with severely narrowed arteries that raise stroke risk. About 130 adults who recently had a mini-stroke or mild stroke will receive either standard care or standard care plus weekly dulaglutide injections. Researchers will measure changes in brain blood flow after one year and track strokes for two years.
