First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a GLP-1 drug (like semaglutide) to teplizumab can help control blood sugar and protect the heart in people with early-stage type 1 diabetes. About 24 participants aged 12-50 will have meal tests before and after treatment to measure how their bodies respond. The goal is to see if this combination improves insulin function and blood vessel health.
