NCT ID NCT07107334

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This pilot study tests whether adding a GLP-1RA weight-loss drug (like semaglutide) to a levonorgestrel IUD can help obese patients with endometrial precancer avoid hysterectomy or preserve fertility. About 20 participants will be followed for up to 12 months to see if the treatment clears the precancerous cells and allows them to safely pursue pregnancy or surgery. The goal is to find a less invasive option for those who are not good candidates for surgery.
