Weight-Loss drugs tested as potential cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07107334

Summary

This study is testing whether popular weight-loss medications (GLP-1RAs) can help treat early-stage endometrial cancer when used alongside a hormonal IUD. It is for obese patients who are not good candidates for surgery or who wish to preserve their fertility. The goal is to see if this drug combination can clear the cancer or control it, potentially offering a non-surgical treatment option.
