First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested a GLP-1 drug (similar to popular weight-loss medications) in 96 adults with obesity but no diabetes. Participants received either the drug or a placebo. Researchers measured changes in food cravings, hunger, stress, and actual food intake. The goal was to see if the drug helps reduce the drive to eat highly palatable foods and supports weight management.
