Beyond the scale: how popular weight drugs change what you crave
NCT ID NCT07270497
Summary
This study aims to understand how newer weight-loss medications affect not just body weight, but also people's diets, eating behaviors, and overall metabolism. It will follow 100 adults with overweight or obesity for one year while they take prescribed GLP-1 or GIP/GLP-1 medications. Researchers will track changes in weight, body composition, blood markers, and detailed aspects of food intake and cravings to get a full picture of the treatment's effects.
