This study analyzed health data from over 723,000 older adults (70+) across 204 countries to understand the burden of pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis from 1990 to 2021. Researchers looked at how many people got these diseases, died from them, and lost healthy years of life. They also made projections to 2040 to help plan future healthcare needs.
