New eye drop targets Mite-Related eyelid inflammation

Summary
This study tests an experimental eye drop called GLK-321 for people with Demodex blepharitis, an eyelid condition caused by tiny mites. About 250 adults with signs of the condition will receive either the drug or a placebo for 6 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drops can clear the crusty debris (collarettes) on eyelashes.
