Scientists build 'Living Avatars' of brain tumors to crack treatment resistance
NCT ID NCT04865315
Summary
This study aims to create a living collection of 3D models grown from patients' brain tumors (gliomas). Researchers will use these models to understand why these tumors are hard to treat, become more aggressive, and resist therapies like radiation and chemotherapy. The long-term goal is to use these models to test new treatments that could be more effective for future patients.
