App-Based home care for brain tumor patients shows promise in new trial
NCT ID NCT07074756
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a mobile app can help people with glioma (a type of brain tumor) receive care and monitoring at home instead of traveling to a clinic. The goal is to make it easier for patients to stay connected with their care team and complete treatment. About 120 adults with glioma who need ongoing therapy will use the app for at least 6 months, and researchers will check if this approach is practical and satisfying for patients.
