Brain cancer breakthrough? tiny beads deliver chemo directly to tumor site
NCT ID NCT07356973
Summary
This trial tests whether placing tiny, slow-release chemotherapy beads directly into the cavity left after brain tumor surgery helps control glioblastoma better than standard treatment alone. It involves 147 adults with newly diagnosed or recurrent tumors suitable for surgery. The study compares surgery plus standard chemo/radiation with or without these special beads implanted at the tumor site.
