First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looked at a new liquid version of the diabetes drug glibenclamide for children with a rare form of diabetes caused by a gene change. The goal was to see if the liquid is easier for kids to take and works just as well as the pill form. Ten children already on the pill tried the liquid, and researchers checked how acceptable and safe it was.
