Eye pressure battle: which tiny implant wins for glaucoma?

NCT ID NCT07359547

Summary

This study compares two tiny, minimally invasive eye implants for adults with open-angle glaucoma that isn't controlled with eye drops alone. Researchers will randomly assign 166 participants to receive either the XEN-63 Gel Stent or the PRESERFLO MicroShunt during a single surgery. They'll follow participants for two years to see which device better lowers eye pressure, reduces the need for medications, and has fewer complications.
