First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests if adding a special blade procedure (KDB goniotomy) to standard cataract and glaucoma surgery helps lower eye pressure more effectively in people with chronic angle-closure glaucoma and cataracts. About 68 adults will be randomly assigned to one of two surgery groups and followed for one year. The goal is to see which approach controls eye pressure better and has fewer complications.
