Glaucoma may trap seniors at home, study suggests
NCT ID NCT03673644
Summary
This study aims to understand how glaucoma affects the daily mobility of older adults. Researchers are looking at whether vision loss from glaucoma makes it harder for people to leave their homes and move around their communities, especially in low-light conditions like at night. They are doing this by having 88 participants with glaucoma fill out questionnaires about their vision and daily travel habits.
