Could brighter lights ease Glaucoma's hidden toll on sleep and mood?
NCT ID NCT07364929
Summary
This study aims to understand if glaucoma, beyond harming vision, also disrupts sleep, mood, and alertness by damaging special light-sensing cells in the eye. Researchers will compare 120 adults with and without glaucoma, measuring their sleep patterns and testing their alertness after exposure to standard and special full-spectrum indoor lighting. The goal is to learn if light-based strategies could improve quality of life for people living with glaucoma.
