Glaucoma patients may ditch daily drops for a tiny implant
NCT ID NCT07495852
First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a small implant placed inside the eye that slowly releases medication to lower eye pressure in people with glaucoma or high eye pressure. The goal is to see if it works as well as daily eye drops but with fewer doses. About 510 adults will take part, and the main measure is how much eye pressure drops over three months.
