First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a home-based exercise program (resistance training and stationary cycling) can protect or improve vision in people with glaucoma, a disease that damages the optic nerve. Researchers will measure changes in vision, eye blood flow, and quality of life in 150 adults with and without glaucoma. The goal is to see if exercise offers short-term benefits that might lead to long-term nerve protection.
