New eye surgery device aims to reduce pressure in glaucoma patients
NCT ID NCT06979752
Summary
This study is testing a new single-use irrigation device called the Tran cannula during cataract surgery for patients who also have pseudoexfoliative glaucoma. Researchers want to see if this device helps lower eye pressure better than standard increased irrigation methods. The trial includes 58 patients with both early-to-moderate glaucoma and cataracts who need cataract surgery.
