New eye lens aims to free glaucoma patients from glasses
NCT ID NCT07436871
Summary
This study is for people with both cataracts and a common type of glaucoma who need cataract surgery. It will compare two different artificial lenses to see which one gives better vision at different distances and causes fewer visual side effects like glare. The goal is to find out if a newer 'extended range' lens can safely reduce the need for glasses without worsening vision problems related to glaucoma.
