Can these glasses stop kids from becoming nearsighted?
NCT ID NCT05689567
Summary
This study is testing if wearing special 'peripheral focus-out' glasses can slow down or prevent the development of nearsightedness in children. It involves 160 non-nearsighted Chinese children aged 6-8 years who will wear the glasses for two years. Researchers will compare their eye measurements to a group of children who receive no treatment to see if the glasses make a difference.
