Summary

This study tested a long-acting insulin called Gla-300 in 228 adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar was not well controlled with oral medications. Participants had never used insulin before. The main goal was to check safety, including side effects and low blood sugar events. The study also looked at how well the insulin lowered blood sugar and whether patients felt more satisfied with their treatment.
