New weekly shot aims to tackle diabetes and obesity together

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called GL0034, given as a weekly shot, for people with type 2 diabetes who are also overweight or obese. About 285 adults will receive either the study drug or a placebo for up to 48 weeks. The main goal is to see if GL0034 can lower blood sugar levels (HbA1c) and help with weight-related health issues.
