Scientists test if meal-timing hormone can protect bones
NCT ID NCT06790225
Summary
This research aims to understand how a natural gut hormone called GIP affects bone health when given in different patterns. The study will compare continuous versus intermittent dosing in 12 healthy adults aged 18-40. Researchers will measure bone markers in blood samples and examine bone cell activity to see which dosing method better maintains the hormone's bone-protective effects.
