Smart toothbrush may beat dentist visit for gum health

Summary

This study compares two ways to treat early gum disease (gingivitis and mild periodontitis). One group uses a smart electric toothbrush with an app, while the other adds professional dental cleaning. The goal is to see if the toothbrush alone works just as well. About 92 adults will participate.
