First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether starting orthodontic space closure early or later after tooth extraction changes the chance of developing gum clefts (small splits in the gum). Nineteen patients will have one side of their mouth treated early and the other side delayed. The goal is to find the best timing to reduce gum problems during braces treatment.
