First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study checks if a special camera (laser speckle contrast imaging) can reliably measure blood flow in the gums. Researchers will take repeated images of healthy gums and healing gums in 24 adults. The goal is to see if this non-invasive method can replace current less reliable techniques for monitoring oral wound healing.
