Summary

This study looks at whether ginger supplements can change gut health and reduce pain in people with chronic sciatica. Eighty adults with leg pain from sciatica will take either ginger or a placebo daily for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure gut bacteria, inflammation, and brain scans to understand how ginger might affect pain. The goal is to learn more about the gut-brain connection in pain, not to cure the condition.
