Ancient spice vs. modern misery: can ginger stop surgery sickness?

NCT ID NCT07190495

Summary

This study is testing if taking ginger capsules before a common gallbladder surgery can prevent nausea and vomiting afterward. Researchers will give 102 patients either ginger or a placebo pill two hours before their operation. They will then track how many patients feel sick in the first 24 hours after surgery to see if the ginger helps.
