NCT ID NCT07294131

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new training method for older adults (65+) who are hospitalized and unable to walk. The method combines light leg exercises with a special cuff that gently restricts blood flow, making the exercises more effective. Patients play a tablet game that guides them through the exercises, making training more engaging. The goal is to see if this approach helps preserve muscle strength and independence better than standard physical therapy alone.
