Summary
This study tests whether a medication called gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) can improve deep, restorative sleep in intensive care patients. Sleep problems are very common in the ICU and can cause discomfort and health issues. The trial will involve 24 adults in the ICU and measure sleep quality using brain wave recordings.
