Gene hunt: could your DNA predict your stroke outcome?

NCT ID NCT07269288

Summary

This study aims to understand if changes in a gene called GGCX affect how well people recover after a stroke. Researchers will collect blood samples from 1,500 stroke patients and follow their health for a year to see if the gene is linked to having another stroke, bleeding problems, or death. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help predict patient outcomes, not to test a new treatment.
