One-Room stroke care could save minutes and brains
NCT ID NCT07052045
First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a new approach called 'One-Stop management' for treating severe strokes. Instead of moving patients between a CT scan room and a treatment room, both the brain scan and the clot-removal procedure happen in one room. The goal is to save time and improve recovery. About 390 adults with severe stroke symptoms will be randomly assigned to either the new one-room approach or the standard two-room process, and their level of disability will be checked 90 days later.
