Summary
This study aimed to create a simple risk score to predict which pregnant women might develop gestational diabetes. Researchers followed 6,608 pregnant women in China, collecting their basic health information and early lab results from hospital systems. The goal was to help doctors identify high-risk women early so they could receive timely advice and monitoring to reduce complications for both mother and baby.
