New tool could spot pregnancy diabetes risk early
NCT ID NCT07160920
Summary
This study aimed to create a risk score that could predict which pregnant women might develop gestational diabetes. Researchers followed 6,608 pregnant women in China, collecting their basic health information, lab results, and lifestyle details through questionnaires and hospital records. By identifying high-risk women early, doctors hoped to provide earlier interventions to reduce diabetes-related pregnancy complications and improve outcomes for both mothers and babies.
