See your arteries, save your heart: new trial targets postpartum hypertension

This study tests whether showing women who had pregnancy complications (like preeclampsia or gestational diabetes) detailed images of their own blood vessels can motivate them to make healthier choices and stick with preventive treatments. About 318 women will be randomly assigned to either receive this visual feedback or standard care, then followed for one year after giving birth. The main goal is to see if this approach lowers the rate of high blood pressure and improves long-term heart health.
