Summary
This study looks at whether a special hospital program for older adults (65+) who need surgery can reduce deaths and complications. Researchers will compare 150 patients who receive this new model of care to those who get standard treatment. The goal is to see if a geriatric-focused approach leads to better recovery within 28 days after surgery.
