First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special geriatric assessment can help manage side effects and improve quality of life for older adults (60+) getting radiation for head and neck cancer, and their family caregivers. About 36 participants will either get standard care or extra support based on the assessment. The goal is to reduce treatment-related toxicities and make the experience better for both patients and their families.
