NCT ID NCT02517034

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special health check-up (geriatric assessment) for older adults with solid tumors can help predict serious side effects from chemotherapy. About 600 participants will be evaluated for things like daily function, other health problems, mood, social support, nutrition, and memory before starting treatment. The goal is to see if this information can help doctors reduce chemotherapy risks and improve care for older patients.
