First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a geriatric assessment—checking thinking, mobility, mood, and nutrition—can help doctors choose the best transplant approach for people aged 60 and older with certain blood cancers. The goal is to lower the risk of serious side effects and improve quality of life. Participants receive a stem cell transplant from a donor, with their treatment plan adjusted based on the assessment results.
