NCT ID NCT07310927
Summary
This study is testing which of two existing, safe medications works better when added to standard heartburn drugs for people with frequent GERD symptoms. Researchers will compare alginate (from brown seaweed) and sucralfate (which coats the stomach) in 140 adults who experience severe heartburn multiple times per week. The main goal is to see which combination provides better symptom relief and improves daily life.
