First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two medications, zastaprazan and esomeprazole, to see which one better relieves nighttime heartburn in people with erosive GERD. About 160 Korean adults with nighttime heartburn for over 3 months will take one of the drugs and report their sleep quality. The goal is to find a treatment that helps patients sleep without heartburn-related disturbances.
