First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study aims to find genetic and metabolic markers that explain why some people develop diabetes, high blood pressure, or bone loss from glucocorticoids while others do not. Researchers will analyze blood and urine samples from up to 600 participants, including those with excess glucocorticoids, adrenal insufficiency, and control groups. The goal is to create a tool that predicts individual risks, helping doctors personalize treatment and monitoring.
