Summary

This study tested whether older adults (age 60+) find a commercially available smart pillbox easy to use. The pillbox has sensors and automatic reminders to help people take their medications correctly. Twelve participants used the device for 30 days, and researchers measured how acceptable it was and whether it improved medication adherence.
