Mayo clinic tests new approach to uncover hidden pancreatic cancer risk
NCT ID NCT06744595
Summary
This study is testing whether personalized education and genetic counseling can encourage more people with a family history of pancreatic cancer to get genetic testing. Researchers are working with 40 patients at Mayo Clinic Florida who have a close relative with pancreatic cancer. The goal is to understand if better education helps people learn about their cancer risk and consider genetic testing that could lead to earlier detection.
