Researchers test mailing kits to boost family cancer screening

NCT ID NCT06284330

Summary

This study tested two different methods to encourage family members of someone with a hereditary cancer gene to get tested themselves. One group received standard counseling, while the other had test kits mailed directly to their homes. The goal was to see which approach led more family members to complete genetic testing and how it affected family communication.
