Free DNA tests offered to pancreatic tumor patients in major study
NCT ID NCT05746182
Summary
This study offers free genetic testing to people diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors to understand how often these cancers are linked to inherited genetic changes. Researchers at University of California medical centers will test 300 patients and track who completes testing and why some might decline. The goal is to gather knowledge about genetic patterns in these tumors, not to provide treatment.
