New program aims to bridge the genetic testing gap in families

NCT ID NCT07318363

Summary

This study is testing a new support program called IGNITE-TX. It aims to help families communicate better about inherited cancer risks and make informed decisions about getting genetic testing. The program will be offered to people with certain genetic mutations (like BRCA) and their at-risk relatives. Researchers will compare this program to standard care to see if it helps more family members get tested.
