Home test kits mailed to families in cancer gene study

NCT ID NCT06284330

Summary

This study tested a new way to encourage family members to get genetic testing for hereditary cancer risk. Researchers compared mailing home testing kits directly to relatives against the usual method of counseling the original patient. They measured how many relatives completed testing and how families communicated about the results.
