Could a simple blood test predict your bone disease risk?
NCT ID NCT05309954
Summary
This study aims to develop a genetic test to predict a person's risk of developing Paget's disease of bone, a condition that can cause pain, deformity, and fractures. Researchers are enrolling 135 people over age 45 who have a parent or sibling with the disease. They will analyze participants' genes and perform bone scans over five years to see if the genetic profile accurately identifies who develops the condition.
